Chairperson Lynett McLean called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. Commissioner Larraine Kelly, Commissioner
Robert Stevens and Port Manager Chris Phalen were in
attendance.
Guests Present: Mr. McDonald, Mr. Templeton, and Mr. Lambert
Consent Items:
1. Motion was made and seconded to accept minutes of
May 1, 2007.
Motion carried.
2. Vouchers: motion was made and seconded to accept vouchers
for June as prepared.
Motion carried.
Unfinished Business:
1. Campground:
Port Manager Chris Phalen reported collecting
$2,168.00 Memorial weekend and depositing $2,376.00 in

No report, Ken Jarstad was not present. Chairperson McLean said she talked to Ken and he said he would continue to do the website after he moved if we wanted him to.
3. Land Clearing:
Commissioner Kelly said we only have one bid at this time. She added that she asked Mike Huson to give us a bid but he has not at this point, but that he came up and looked at the property but has been too busy to get back to us. This was tabled for now.
4. Small Works Roster:
Small work roster was discussed. Commissioner Kelly said last time we advertised for people to get on the roster, only one person applied.
Chairperson McLean said she wanted to comment on our 80th Anniversary Party and how well it went. Chris did a really great job; Sally was here and did a great job as well. We had a lot of good help and turned out really well. Commissioner Kelly said it was really nice. Chairperson McLean said the music was nice and a lot of fun. Great time was had by all. Port Manager Phalen said thanks to everyone for all the help.
New Business:
Chairperson McLean said we got a
letter from Mason County Department of Community Development Addressing Division,
about naming the road behind the building. Chairperson McLean said according to
how many parcels you own is how many votes you get. The lots have to be on the
road way. Chairperson McLean said #1 Templeton Way, #2 Lovers Hill Lane, #3
Linton Lane, #4 Oarhouse Road, #5 Ottawed
Lane, and Port added one more, #6 Phalen Lane.
Chairperson McLean said the Commissioners thought
Open Discussion:
A dumpster day was discussed and Chairperson McLean was going to check for more details on this. Port Manager Chris Phalen was asked to contact our attorney Walgren to see if this is something the Port would be legal to take part in.
A flee market or garage sale along with a potluck after words was discussed. The Port could rent tables.
Meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
Our next meeting will be July 11th at 7:00 p.m.
