Unfinished Business:

1.                 Campground

Port Manager Phalen reported she deposited $1,916.00 for last month and collected $400.00 plus so far this week.  She also deposited a check from DNR for rent on building during the fire for $5,198.40.

Everything is fine with the park.

Plumbers are coming tomorrow to install a new faucet in the bathroom and are getting us a price on installing a shower in the ladies bathroom.

2.                 Web site

Mr. Jarstad said he had the website fixed so he can receive reservations now.  He said something was going on with the server. We showed we were getting thousands of hits on the website and after investigating it, found several small servers were linked together which caused us getting all those hits.

There was a discussion about setting up a website where the Commissioners answer questions from the public. No decision was made. Chairman Stevens said he likes what we are doing now, where everything goes through Ken and he sends it on to the individuals.

3.                 Telephone

Commissioner Kelly said we got a bill today that she, nor Port Manager Phalen, wanted to discuss. Commissioner Kelly said we did get the telephone company to come out and put in some new lines. We were hoping we could get ADT squared away. They were supposed to be here between 10a.m. and 12p.m., but when they didn’t show, Port Manager Phalen called the company and was told he left at 8a.m.  She contacted him by his cell phone and he was in Pacific Beach looking for us.  He finally arrived at 2:30p.m. and didn’t do anything except give us a bill for $400.00. The alarm is still going off when someone calls, and ADT says it is because it is all piggy backed down to Chris’ house.  We had tried to get the two companies together to get it fixed.  The telephone company was on time, put in the new lines and waited around for the ADT guy, who thought he was smarter than anyone else by traveling to Pacific Beach before us so he could charge us for all the travel time.  She said she was really irritated with ADT and still has the same problems.

4.                 Screen Doors

Port Manager Phalen hasn’t had time to check on them.

5.                 Lock Box Key

Work in process

6.                 Land Clearing

Commissioner Kelly said she didn’t get a hold of Dale Hall.  She said she thought he was gone hunting.

No New Business
